Okoth:It is A good feeling Winning the 3×3 Tournament

KIU Titans small guard , Henry Okoth is excited about his recent achievement of winning the 3×3 tournament that was played at Abja Parks on Saturday June 10th 2023.Okoth whose team KIU Titans also featured Captain Joseph Chuma and Joel Lukoji Banza said he was thrilled with the milestone. Team KIU Titans defeated team Sitya danger which featured three Titans,Peter Obleng,Amisi Saidi Danny Alias Carmelo and Ahmed Kassa in the finals. Okoth admits,he had a good performance especially in the final. "Personally I had a very good performance mostly in finals where it matters the most. I dropped some threes and that's some thing to be happy about really," he said. "It's always a good feeling winning in finals," he added. Okoth is confident, the victory in the 3×3 tournament will inspire him and his colleagues to become more competitive in the second round which starts on Friday,16th June 2023. "This tournament and especially the victory has given us more confidence,self belief and hunger for more. Such a tournament brings back the competitiveness back to everyplayer who was involved," he noted. KIU Titans will start life in the second round of this NBL season with an epic game against JKL Dolphins on Wednesday 21st June 2023. It should be noted that the Titans have won nine out of 11 games played so far this season and are looking forward getting even better results in the second round.
