KIU Titans return to action against Our Saviour

KIU Titans will look to resume their winning streak when they face Our Savior this Saturday at the YMCA court in Wandegeya, with the game beginning at 4:00 PM.
The Titans return to NBL competition after a two-week layoff following the FIBA Afrobasket Qualifiers, when Edgar Munaba and Stanley Mugerwa represented the Pride of Kansanga on the Uganda National Basketball Team, the Silverbacks, in Monastir, Tunisia.
Munaba and Mugerwa have returned to the squad and will make Coach Julius Lutwama's roster if conditions remain the same.
This Saturday's game against Our Savior is the Titans' first since a 72-63 loss to City Oilers on February 16, 2024.
Before that, the Titans had registered two back to back wins including an impressive 83-52 triumph over UCU Canons.
Team news:
Munaba and Mugerwa have returned from national duty in good health.
Guard Pierre Kasereka is currently experiencing shoulder pain and may require last-minute clearance from the medical team to participate in Saturday's game.
Nonetheless, the remainder of the squad is in optimal condition.
